stay determined!

Thursday May 12, 2011
It is amazing how much I have accomplished overall in life thus far, and I am eternally grateful for the unique set of friends that found their way into my life. Without my friends/certain teachers consistently telling me how much potential I had for so many years, I would be a completely different person right now.

dont live off the government please

I find it annoying that the government pays people thousands of dollars per kid in their tax refunds.Actually let me say that correctly...
I find it annoying that the government pays irresponsible adults who have accidental kids
(not planned) thousands of dollars per kid in their refund.Of course filing single, with no children(responsible) I get fuckin' shafted up my arse.

justice!

I won both of my cases today in court as I said I would. Justice is served. That cop should have never given me those BS tickets 5 months ago. Fucking waste of my time, and waste of the judges time. I should take that cop to small claims court and get $100 compensation for my time.

annoying cop.

Pulled over, cop decides to wait 25 mins. Comes back THEN tells me I ran a stop sign(in the middle of NOWHERE) at like 3mph. He asks for my sig on the ticket, im pissed so I scribble on that shit. He says “you need to sign your real signature” I said “that is my signature” he says “the one on your license is different” I said “I changed my signature”. fuckin male meter maids man. do your job and catch criminals instead of giving out bullshit tickets all the time. Coincidentally I am going to court tomorrow morning to WIN two tickets that were given to me 4 months ago that were WRONG, and im going to make the officer look stupid for giving me them.

pissed off. jen shutup, damn right im salty, these fuckin cops are pissing me off. Im changing my license signature to FUCK YOU next time.

take the boulders off my shoulders please

It would be nice, for someone to take the boulders off of my shoulders for a while, or is that even possible? I think these boulders may be welded on. Then again, I probably wouldn’t function “normally” if that happened. I’m so used to being the one solving problems for myself, and other people, that is the norm. I guess thats what was meant to be. Do I complain? NO. I say BRING IT ON WORLD!!! THROW ALL YOUR PROBLEMS AT ME!! like tupac said. LIFE GOES ON!

PAC

Wishin' I live my life a legend, immortalized in pictures
Why shed tears? Save your sympathy
My childhood years were spent buryin' my peers in the cemetary
Here's a message to the newborns, waitin' to breathe
If you believe then you can achieve
Just look at me
Against all odds, though life is hard we carry on
Livin' in the projects, broke with no lights on
To all the seeds that follow me
protect your essence
Born with less, but you still precious

My grandfather died

I am really depressed right now. 2011 was looking to be a great year….things were already changing for me. Until my grandfather passed away yesterday, the same day my dad passed away 10 years ago. I was about 30 minutes away from visiting my dads gravestone when I got the news.

I’m tired of everything right now. I’m so mentally drained from dealing with all of these unfortunate events, and unnecessary drama that somehow leaks into my life from different directions.

i dont know how much longer I can handle this….

I wish I knew someone who has been through all of the things I have been through in only 24 years of living, I really do. I dont think I know anyone who has even delt with half the things. Whatever.

p.s happy birthday sis. FUCK! 🙁

it really broke my heart seeing you cry and knowing your in a bad state of pain, that i can only have some idea of. I love you with all of my heart and we will get through this one together just try to let me know if you need anything, you are the strongest person I know and focused and determined to do great things, now we have to pick yourself off the floor and I know you are going to do great and be great. Poppy was and is very proud of the man you are and I am pretty sure of that.

I love you.

You would be surprised at the number of people who have probably been through just as much as you. You’re never alone.

I’m very sorry about your grandfather. I recently lost my grandmother and she meant more than the World to me, so I can imagine the pain your feeling. *hugs*

its not over…

DAUGHTRY

It’s Not Over Lyrics

I was blown away.
What could I say?
It all seemed to make sense.
You’ve taken away everything,
And I can’t deal with that.
I try to see the good in life,
But good things in life are hard to find.
We’ll blow it away, blow it away.
Can we make this something good?
Well, I’ll try to do it right this time around.Let’s start over.
I’ll try to do it right this time around.
It’s not over.
‘Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground.
This love is killing me,
But you’re the only one.
It’s not over.

Taken all I could take,
And I cannot wait.
We’re wasting too much time
Being strong, holding on.
Can’t let it bring us down.
My life with you means everything,
So I won’t give up that easily.
I’ll blow it away, blow it away.
Can we make this something good?
‘Cause it’s all misunderstood.
Well, I’ll try to do it right this time around.

Let’s start over.
I’ll try to do it right this time around.
It’s not over.
‘Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground.
This love is killing me,
But you’re the only one.
It’s not over.

We can’t let this get away.
Let it out, let it out.
Don’t get caught up in yourself.
Let it out.

Let’s start over.
I’ll try to do it right this time around.
It’s not over.
‘Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground.
This love is killing me,
But you’re the only one.
It’s not over.

Let’s start over.
It’s not over, yeah…
This love is killing me,
But you’re the only one.
It’s not over.

I support MYSELF, HONED

It feels great to know that I have 100% supported myself for the past 7-10 years minimum. It feels good to have a strong work ethic. It feels good to have solid friends. It feels good to have a good paying, secure job. It feels good to know that if I REALLY put my mind to something, I can achieve it. It feels good to have my own apartment. It feels good to have flexibility in life. It feels good to take vacations how I want, when I want. It feels good to be determined.

It feels good to be Kris, born and raised in silver spring maryland.

my brain.

I don’t really know where to start. Im just going to start writing as I think, so this post might go all over the place from the way my brain is thinking right at this exact moment, at 8:17 on sunday afternoon. The patriots just lost a home playoff game…..for the 2nd year in a row. Honestly I was initially pretty pissed off. I mean… REALLY pissed off. I threw my remote at the wall, and was very frustrated with the way they executed the game. Then I sat back and realized, what I did was just immature. Why throw the remote? what is that going to accomplish? On one side, its a way of releasing frustration, but thats the wrong way to do it. Take the loss, and move on. Dont get so emotional with things that ultimately dont really matter. So the patriots lost? Big deal. I still have a great girlfriend, a great job, great friends and DETERMINATION. Thats all I really need. I dont NEED the patriots to keep winning for me to be happy, I WANT them to keep winning for me to be happy. At the end of the day its just a game, and really doesnt affect my life as much as I let it. Thats right… I let it get to me. I ended up throwing the remote, and it got the best of me. I literally was so frustrated that all rationality was throw out the window and I did something completely useless that ultimately leads to another mistake, which ultimately could have led to another mistake. Its like a chain reaction in the wrong way. Here are 2 examples of what I did, and what that COULD have led to, and what I could have done differently, and what that would have led to… For instance:

1. Lets say I throw the remote, it his the wall and smashes into pieces. Now I cant change my channel wirelessly until I buy another remote which causes the 2 next things. Either 1, I have to now BUY another remote and spend MONEY because I made a mistake, or I stay without a remote and punish myself by not buying another remote. Either one, really does nothing positive in my life. Ultimately, either choice I decide to do…will most likely impact another negative thing. Lets say I buy another remote, now I am out of money, when I could have used that money for something else that I NEED, or something else someone else NEEDS, but now I cant. The only thing I can learn here is to learn from this mistake, and not let it happen again.

2. I could have also just sat there, and done nothing. Sit there, think about it. Calm down. Count from 10 down to 1, and WOOOOSAAAAAA. just let the negative energy flow outside my brain, and think of happy thoughts instead. Whats the point in getting all bent out of shape for nothing? Its so immature. All of this competitiveness, the hell with that. Its a game, nothing more. Its not my job, its not really that important.

Anyways, I felt that if I wrote this down it would really give me alot more time to think about some of the little immature things that I do, and help me not continue to make them a part of my life in the future. I know its really petty, and childish, but the more I can emphasize it, the better off I will be. I will forever remember about the time that I was really pissed off about a football game, and threw the remote and then realize that even though I may have felt better immediately afterward, in the long run, I was disappointed in myself for getting bent out of shape for a damn football game. If I would have just told myself, “dont do that again next time” there is a higher chance I would have still done it again sometime in my life… but now that I have over emphasized it to myself, and to the world, I now realize the importance of being a good sport, taking the loss and moving on.

I know this post might have seemed a bit useless to some people, so I apologize for putting you through this. 2011 has got off to a really good start, and I am committed to making this year a very important year. I really believe how this year turns out is a very pivotal year in my life. I started committing to things in late 2010, and they have carried into the new year. ultimately I want to live a extremely healthy, and happy lifestyle full with nothing but great memories that will be remembered, and great times that will be cherished. Im turning 25 this year, and that amazes me.

I need people around me to become more determined. How determined have you been lately?
