The bottom

The bottom will teach you lessons the mountain tops never will. Crystal clear there are a few lessons at the bottom that the folks high up on the mountain lack, and may never learn unless they fall. Compassion & Humility. Another lesson is to have gratitude with very little. People who climb out of the bottom seem more inclined to empathize and the desire to help others can be stronger, as they know what it feels like. Arrogance and Privilege make people feel like nothing can take them down. Most of us are just one tragedy away from the streets. Its only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything. It’s difficult to fully appreciate the light if you have never been in the dark. The bottom is like a dark basement. Lots of lessons to be learned down there. The only way to get to the mountain top is from the bottom. Unless you had a helicopter, or someone carried you. Now falling off the mountain accidentally or intentionally each has its lessons of their own. Climbing back up the mountain to an ever higher summit than before will show you that your capable of more and more. Be prepared, be smart, and when you fall…. RISE AGAIN. Ask for help. Doesn’t make sense to do it alone. The depth, authenticity and level of understanding of “self” that comes from the bottom, especially emotionally, is a level that can never be understood unless someone has been there. In the end, we all seek connection. We all seek love.
